I went out 1 HR. before dark tonight to one of my favorite spots, it has it all corn feilds, brushy draws and ridgetops, after 20 Mins. I moved 200Yds south over a large ridge, on the other side is a old pastue with a woods about 1/4 mile south, after 3 series on my rabbit distress call (15Min.) I made one more series followed by a few yelps after 5 min. I madea few more coyote yelps and here comes 2 coyotes, the first one was working to my right the second one stopped at about 100Yds I gave him a couple squeaks and he comes up to about 60Yds and stops in and opening I fire 1 shot with my 221 CZ and down he goes the other yote made it to the brush before I could stop him. It sure feels good to finaly call some in after 10 Dead stands.  Good Luck Deathray

Nice goin' deathray. I haven't even been out yet. Hope to get out near Kewaskum soon, my friend has seen too many tracks near his barn to ignore.

Now if my calling and hunting skills would cooperate...

What area were you hunting?

I hunt around the Chippewa falls area, there are alot of coyotes around, there are some good trappers and alot of dog hunters so the coyotes are pressured pertty hard. I make alot of stands without seeing anything and start getting down, then you have one of those good days and it picks you back up.    Good Luck Deathray
