Did you let it lapse? If you did, you start all over again...if its still current, the BATF will send you the stuff to renew anywhere from 90-60 days before it expires... 8)

Thanks for the info.  My C&R expires is May guess I will get the renewal paperwork in a mothh or so.

Mine would have expired on April 1st.  I got the renewal paperwork the first part of January.  Sent it in and the new license came in about 3 weeks.

I just got my notice yesterday and my license expires in March.  One really confusing item is the "Certification of conpliance wiyh 18 U.S.C. 922(G)(5)(B)"  They are evidently asking you to go out and find somebody who can "certify" that I am not a nonimmigrant alien (proove a negative). If they just want you to state that you are a U.S. citizen, why don't they just ask on the renewal form?  Anyway, I do not know a soul that would be able to make such a silly certification.  I am just going to sign it and send it in.  If they don't like it they can kiss my redneck arse.

Got my C&R renewal application in the mail Saturday.  Looks like ATF send out the paper work two months before your C&R expires

I waited to renew mine because i don't like the section were it says we have to report how many C&R's we own and how many we disposed of in the 3 years of having the C&RFFL. I just don't like telling my local police dept because i think its no ones business but the ATF.  Now I had to reapply all over again for my C&R.  I won't let it lapse again its worth having I'm missing the sales on stuff right now that bites when i see the lower clearance prices thats the time when i buy and save $$$.  Shop smart be frugal and shoot cheap!!!                            BigBill
