Well, I finally got it done. :-D The tube is from SBR, the 30" wheels are from Old West Wagon Wheels and the carriage is my own design with help from "Round Shot and Rammers. The .50 caliber ammo can is for size reference and holds the premade powder charges. Hope you all like it.

Sorry about that. It's 1.5". The original bronze gun was 2.75" which, according to J.P. Barnett at SBR, was actually too big for the size of the gun. The tube, forward of the breech is about 4.5" in diameter so with a 2.75" bore there would only be .75" of metal left. Not exactly safe in my mind.

For now, I plan to leave it as is. Simply stained with satin wipe-on poly.

With a bore of 1-1/2" ammo should be easy. CRS comes in round stock as a standard size. You could cut off a piece or with a radius cutter make the spheres yourself. Then too 1-1/2 is so standard it would probably be cheaper to buy them.

Cool shootin' iron. Great for urban redevelopment!
