to trade or not to trade
« on: January 07, 2005, 06:13:10 AM »
A guy at a local gun shop has a sig 226 in 40. I comes with 4 factory mags, case , a set of hogues, and  150 rnds of ammo. When he saw my safari arms matchmaster he wanted it. So he offered me all that and a 100 bucks for my matchmaster. Do you guys think this is a good deal. I currently have 2 other 1911's.

I happen to have 1 of each of the - B series of SIG's; except a P239;
(All Black models I should add...)  I'm trying to remedy that right now though..!
(The missing P239 I mean.)  In any case; my favorites are the Big ones;
i.e. - P220 & P226.  I Am one of the "Traditionalists" that
just cannot get into the "It has to have an Acc'y. Rail thing though..!"
I hate that SIG has gone 96% to "Rail Guns Only..!"  Also not a big
"Plastic Hangun Guy either..."; "If there's a chance for a SIG - B; Go for it!        ;D

(Got my P239 now too..!)                     ;D

You just don't get any better than a Sig when your butt is on the line.  I own several of them, but my carry gun is normally the 220 in .45.

If you gotta shot em, make a big hole................
