cz 527 varmint

Just ordered a new one in the .204 caliber.......Needing to know what rings will fit. The gun does not come with rings from the factory but I think the base is built into the reciever.........

i have the 527 varmint laminate in .223
   my rig wears a nikon buckmasters 4x12x50 a/o  
in order to make it fit i had to use milet angle lock high rings  
i tried warne maxima  mediums and they are nothing but a pain in the ass
the problem is you have to get the variable ring high enough to clear the bolt handle because it has a tall angle to it when you open it  if your scope is to low the bolt handle will hit your scope tube  
i would go no lower than high rings with whichever scope you choose and save yourself some hassle   just my opinion
by the way  you  will love the 527 varmint  mine is a sweet rig and shoots good but im going to stard loading for it only to see if it might get better than it is already

I guess my question now is, are the bases that are made on the varmint weaver style.I found the weaver style millet angle-loc rings in the midsouth catalog. Tried to call cz but they are closed until the 10th......Did your millet rings attach directly to the bases that are on the varmint or did you need a base and the angle-loc rings........

 the millet rings will fit right on your 527 reciever but its not weaver style that you need    millet makes an high ring for the 527 its an angle loc but its not under that in the natchezss catalog  
the 527 has 16mm dovetail bases on it   little smaller than weaver bases
so you have to order the cz/bruno rings  
natchez shooters supply has them  matte high is the only one they show
and thats whats on mine they are easy to mount and as strong as anything else out there
