OK guys, I'm NOT trying to take this over but I've seen a bunch of them fail for lack of contiuity since setting up this site.

So I'm gonna make this a poll to see who is firm at which location. Now at this time Wes has it all tied down and is ready to host in OK. As far as I know Jerry and Matt haven't got any specifics locked in yet for the MT, WY or Dakotas.

Please vote ONLY once even if you have more than one username. Also please DO NOT vote at all unless you are at least reasonably sure you'll show at one location or the other. If we have folks voting who have no intention of showing it's gonna foul up your planning efforts.

So please vote to tell the planners if you're firm or reasonably firm in OK, MT/WY/Dakotas or either.

And to be sure who we're dealing with on it please make a post just to say VOTED so we'll know who has and who hasn't.

I've voted. I'm firm for OK unless unforeseen health issues crop up. Folks my age have to toss that one in. Even if by myself I'll be there.

I'm also firm at the other locations IF but ONLY IF I have another person or two to help with driving and trip costs. Ain't driving that far alone.

Even if the whole thing falls thru this old fat boy is gonna go visit with Wes and shoot PDs there.

Hmm, four votes but only three names. Who is the one in for MT, WY and/or the Dakotas?

I am firm for OK, but it still depends on the actual dates.  Never been to OK or shot P'Dogs.

Isn't the internet grand.  A bunch of people from all over the USA with the same interests would never be able to plan and do such an event.

I maybe shouldn't have voted, but I did vote for OK.

I tell ya, I don't really get that excited about shooting prairie dogs anymore, but I'm kinda looking forward to hosting this thing if it happens.

I voted for OK. I am reasonably firm, but it still depends on the dates. I think I would pass on the other locations.

How long of an event would this be?

I voted for Montana/Wyoming because I'm going anyway.  I can't commit to a time yet but I'm flexible as long as it's no earlier than the week of 6/20.

The shoot will take place around Guymon OK.  It's right in the middle of the panhandle of Oklahoma.

I could become a definite maybe for oklohoma, but the other are just too much for me to do. Right now it just depends on the time it will be.

I voted for MT because I'm planning to be in the neighborhood in late June anyway. If later (mid July) OK would work very well for me. And truthfully, am more interested in the social aspects than in the PD shooting, but not opposed to the shootin'.

Cheers

I would love to take part in a shoot in Ok.  I would like to carpool with somebody if they are close to Memphis or coming this way.

Sorry fellas, but at almost 1700 miles, me and more importantly, my aching back won't be going to Oklahoma, as much as I'd like to....

I can go May or June either one.  Both months are pretty comfortable temperature wise, with June being a little more likely to be on the hot side.  'Course, I'm used to 105 degree weather in the summer, so take that with a grain of salt 8)   The thing I'm trying to remember is which month is more likely to have a lot of wind.  The wind blows out here a lot, but you might get lucky and have two or three days where it doesn't blow much.  I'll do some thinking and get back to you on that.

As far as the socializing goes.....I'm up for that too.  I might even have a sort of meeting place where we can go have some "cool refreshments" (if you're so inclined), shoot some pool and tell some lies

No word yet as far as I know.......Sounds like a man with a plan....the brass you have will just act as inspiration and a motivator... 8)  Actually the 5  40 round boxes will be added to the other 5 40 round boxes that are already on the shelf......that should be enough ammo to cause a little..."stress" and hopefully some vacancys in a PD village!    Also this means I'll have enough ammo for you to blast at a few too. Mitchell!!
