Back-yard mule-deer
« on: January 01, 2005, 10:03:32 AM »
These 3 mule-deer seem to have taken up residence in and around my place. They've been here for 4 days, the kids have chased them all over town and scattered them out, but each morning they've been right back. They like to lay under the apple tree and pig out. This might be common in other parts of the country but mule-deer are pretty scarce in this area.

I know what ya mean! Where I farm we got about 15 deer that keep our alfalfa mowed year round. My neighbors wife was washing dishes the other morning and looked out the window to see the big buck looking back at her!
I told her he just wanted to know what was for breakfast! :-D  :-D  :-D
I'm not going to repeat what she said. :-D  :-D

My wife buys apples at the grocery store just to feed the deer where she walks the dogs.  Sometimes the deer are waiting for her within 25 feet as she walks up to the spot.  I told her if we ever needed food I know where to go!!!!!   :-D                                                                    BigBill
