Boyt Cases are well worth the money. When my father returned from WWII in 1946, Mother purchased a Boyt 5 Star case for his shotgun. By 1996 Dad was no longer hunting, but I was traveling extensively with my two sons to trap shoots. I was always short of gun cases. Dad gave me his "old" case, but told me I would have to replace the zipper. The zipper is a non-standard length, so I called Boyt to order a replacement. I was told to box the case up and ship it to the Boyt Factory for 'warrantee REPAIR". I told them "You don't understand this is a 50 year old case purchased by my Mother in 1946." The answer was, "Sir if that case has a Boyt 5 Star Label, it is warranted. Send it in and we will repair it free of charge." It cost me $6.00 to ship it to the factory. They replaced the zipper, replaced the lining, and shipped to me free of charge. That Christmas I purchased new Boyt cases for my sons. They are excellent cases and an excellent company to deal with.
