I been hearing a rumor that Remington may be going to chamber
their model 700 in the wsm 270,7mm and the 300wsm.
Any one heard anything else about this?

That's the buzz I've been hearing on all the forums lately. I guess about time they did, got tired of missing out on sales.

It's NOT a rumor. I held one in my hands yesterday. And it was a rather strange rifle for a Remington. The gun is a BDL but with the plastic stock and matte black appearance of the ADL line. Yet it is a BDL with the hinged drop down floor plate. Unlike any M700 BDL I've ever seen before. The one I held was chambered to .270 WSM. He had others of same type in other chambers so it's not just in the WSM line either.
