The mystery about Hogzilla's true size may end sometime early in 2005, because Holyoak has given a group of forensic scientists and a National Geographic Channel television crew permission to unearth the animal's remains. The scientists and film crew journeyed to Alapaha in November 2004, located the Hogzilla burial site, studied the remains, and reburied them. What they found will be disclosed in an episode of National Geographic Explorer to be televised in early 2005, but until then they're keeping mum. According to Ken Holyoak, though, "They said when we get the reports, we're going to be really happy."
