ADL & Other Attacks on CHRISTmas
« on: December 14, 2004, 08:47:51 AM »
Abe Foxman of the ADL (Jewish civil rights organization) has launched their annaul attack on the public observance of Christmas,  Christmas carols in schools and every other public recognition of this most traditional and joyous holiday.

Is any body else bugged by the idea that Jewish organizations who attack the right of American Christians to practice their religion are in the forefront of lobbying for  billions of US Christian tax payer dollars used every year to subsidize the Jewish State of Israel?

Why are Jews alone, the only religious group that is entitled to their own tax supported, tax subsidized religous "homeland?"

Nobody has ever asked me how I feel about my tax dollars going to support a religious state whose religion is not mine.  HAS ANYONE EVER ASKED YOU?

IGM-
Been thinking about your post for awhile now and wondering how to respond and do so in a manner of love.
First, Christians are not a seprate religion. We are grafted into the root of Israel.
I disagree with the Jewish nation concerning the satus of Christ Jesus, just a Paul did.
I cannot turn my back on Israel any more than Paul or than I can turn my back on Christ Jesus.
The LORD GOD has a plan and a heart for Israel, I wish to be included as a part of that plan.
Pray for those who would kill you.
Blessings
TEXAS, by GOD

The ADL represents Jews much in the way that the ACLU represents people concerned about their civil liberties: their only committed to supporting Jews when it comes to liberal values. To me, it seems like spend more time supporting things like gay rights, evolution and abortion (and in the end, defending Democrats all they way), along condemning Dennis Prager and Joe Lieberman, than they do trying do defeat Islamo-fascism -- the number one threat to both Jews and Israel.

I don't agree with Israel's policy on Messianic Jews not being allowed -- even Barbra Streisand's cousin was denied entrance for aliyah, because they said he's a Messianic Jew. But I think the reason is because they want to preserve both Jewish and Israeli culture. If they allow a bunch of Christians to live there, then why not more Muslims/Islamists, and Asians, and Mexicans, etc.? There are more Israeli Jews coming to Christ, and in the end, God has a plan to save all Jews, because they are his people.

As much as I love Christmas, I freely admit it isn't really part of Christanity.

Shouldn't this be in a different section?  Hardly an "inspirational" message.
