im just wondering if i should be concerned about my t3 .300 win because of the sako posts about those guns blowing up, i know they are the same company. so far i have not had a problem shot about 100 rds though it its accurate and i like it just want to make sure its safe bought it in nov 2003 thanks for any info

Well, you should at least call the hotline and find out if your serial number is in the batch of bad barrels.  Do a search for "Sako Recall" if no one after me posts the number, because this was a hot topic 2 or 3 weeks ago.  I can't remember it.  Sorry

It seems that it is not only a bad batch of barrels it has to do with metallurgy flaw in their stainless steel so their receivers are in question too.  Lawdog :D

I don't believe yours would be included but just to be on the safe side I would call Sako anyway.  Better to be safe then sorry.  Lawdog
