Ruger #1 Action
« on: December 13, 2004, 07:14:00 AM »
I have a Ruger #1 action that I've had sitting around for years.  Originally it was a project that never got finished.  Any idea what I should ask for it if I try and sell it?

A little more info please. Is it just an action? Does it have a stock and or forend? Does it have a barrel on it currently? How is the finish? Does it need to be refinished when a new barrel is installed?

It has a butt stock and a forend.  The barrel has been removed.  Whether or not it needs to be finished after a barrel is installed depends a lot on the smith  Most will blue the action and barrel together to get the same color.  Currently, the action is blue.
