Any danger in eating Cottontails?.........
«

I mean other than any of the other game animals?... A friend told me something about Tularemia (if I heard him right) that rabbits can get and that is a hazard to people. He wasn't exactly sure so I thought I'd ask.
Any ideas on this one?
Thanks

Check the liver for white spots. I also open the stomach to see if they've been eating hemlock, if there's any growing in the vicinity.

Yep, always check the liver. In 30 years of rabbit hunting I've never seen a bad one, but you never know. I always wear gloves when dressing them.
