Guys:

Hope you don't think this is a lame question, but my my two year old Vizsla (Jake), is starting to get some tartar build-up on the pearly whites.  He gets "dog bones" daily as a supplement/treat...but that's not keeping the build-up in check.

Yes...I've seen the canine tooth brushes.  But frankly, it looks like Bravo Sierra to me since I know infrequent brushing won't do anything.  Any suggestions?

I would look at the feed.  I fed one brand for a few years, when one of my buddies asked if I had had any teeth problems.  I never thought about it much but I had had a few with rotten teeth and changed to a different feed.....problem solved......Most vets will clean teeth, but it's not cheap.

Chris go to the local meat processing shop and get  any part of a cows leg bone and give that to your dog, he will love it. Only let him have it for about 2-3 days and then throw it away. Both dogs will work like crazy get all the meat off and will clean there teeth in the process
