Hello,
I'm thinking about replacing my factory SAVAGE stock with a BOYDS Varminter stock.
Has anyone tried their products?
Thanks!

Have used the drop-in stocks for the M1 Garand in the past. Was pleased. Just order a Contender carbine set and a stock for a K-31, but they have not arrived yet.

Yes did exactly what you are doing only the rifle was the standard long action. Needed to open the barrel channel a bit to free float the barrel. I bedded mine. Don't have mine any longer a buddy talked me out of it but they are a decent stock and a fair price.

I got one of their stock sets for my Thompson Encore. It was a very nice setup, but did have a couple of flaws that kind of bugged me. Sold it to a good buddy for a very good price (50.00).
