Howdy All
I'm new here and need to ask a question. I'm on the verge of buying a full scale mountain howitzer barrel from Grey-Star Cannon Technologies.
Has anyone had any experience with this company? and do there barrels
have seamless liners?
Thanks
Gringo Jack

Greystar offers there cannons with seamed or seamless tubing. You must specify seamless.
There are a couple of fellows who come through here who have Greystar tubes, they can tell you about them.

GJ -
Good to see your post! Welcome.
You've got the right idea - seamless tubing. Safer is better. Some of us are speaking from having seen cannons explode.
Be safe, have fun and keep us posted. Send pix.

Seamless is the ticket if you intend on shooting it. I have no experience with the company you mention but I have built three guns using tubes from South Bend. Seamless all the way and stick to the recommended loads.
There are several excellent publications available on shooting cannons as well as the information on this site.
