Hornady SST in 7mm-08

Does anyone have any experience with the Hornady 139 grain SST on deer?  I usually use the Hornady Lite Mag. 139 grain SP bullet but this year, I have been unable to find any of the 139 SP ammo, so I bought a box of Hornady Lite Mag. 139 grain SST's.  I was able to get 3/4" groups at 100 yards with them.  If you have used these bullets on deer, how did they perform?

I get better accuracy with the 139 Interlock LMs than the SSTs.  My dad used the Interlock version with great success last year.  I tried an SST in a 7mag and it seems to have performed about the same - maybe a tad bit more explosive, but that could have been because the 7mag has more velocity and the animal was closer with the 7mag shot than with the 7-08 shot.

Last Tues. on the 16th I shot a 6 pt at 60 yards with a 139 gr. sst at 2845 fps out of my .280. With a top of the heart shot the buck ran about 45 yards and died instantly in the middle of a leap. The entry hole was larger than the exit and I found the mushroomed copper jacket in the hide on the exit side. So I'd say that at about 2600 to 2700 fps it would be excellent

Last year I used the 139 SST in a 7-08 Encore with the 24 inch barrel.  125 yards, high lung shot, small buck (120-140 lb).  He never moved out of his track, just collapsed so fast I didn't see him fall in the recoil. Lungs were mush and left exit hole.  Very impressed. I didn't hit any major bones though.
