Double Action target patterns.

Has anyone noticed double-action shooting patterns in specific revolvers you own. My duty gun, a S&W model 19 4" nickel shoots 6 holes in a straight line from nipple to nipple on sillouette targets at 12 yds. I mean a literal straight line. My other 19, 4" blued shoots them in almost an "N" pattern. Any thoughts?

I've not seen anything as dramatic as you describe.  

I have noticed that I need to refine my hand loads to bring every chamber into alignment with the sights.  Kind of like regulating a double rifle.

It's usually pretty easy to get 4 to 5 chambers pretty well in sync, but bringing that last one in can take some time and fiddling with the load. :lol:

I have a freind that has a 19 that punches a very small group at 12 yards.
I have 2 mod.586's that do the same. Could be you're in need of a trigger job or it could be the load.
