Lightfield Slugs

Does anyone have experience using 12 ga. 2 3/4" Lightfield slugs in smoothbore barrels......mine is a Ithaca 37 Deerslayer 12 ga. 2 3/4" 20 " barrel? From information on their site, I gather they only make sabot-type slugs designed for rifled barrels?
Help please.

SavageT, It is my understanding that you use sabot slugs in rifled barrels. You said yours is smoothbore.I would stick with foster type slugs. Regards Byron
