Savage in .350 Rem. Mag !!?

A guy at the Gun Show yesterday,told me that Savage was chambering the 350 Rem. Mag. in both 20in. & 24in. barrels!
It sounds good to me !!

I'b be curious to see it.  It seems I've read many have issues with that caliber and accuracy, for some reason.

To me, when I look at the 350 Rem. Mag., a souped up .308 Win. comes to mind... I like that idea! :)   Patriot

A 24" barreled Savage in .350 Remington Magnum is one I would like to see.  Then just get Savage to chamber the same rifle for the 6.5mm Remington Magnum and what a set that would make.  Lawdog

I think it's more like a 300WSM necked up.  Although it came out long before the WSM.  I believe case dia is a bit larger than the 308  But the design is very similar to the 358 Win.
