Kolpin stands by their stuff
« on: September 29, 2004, 09:58:45 PM »
I want to share some good news.
Recently the front sight of my rifle hooked the lining in one of my Gun Boot 3's and pulled the whole lining loose. Made the case real hard to use after that.

I emailed Kolpin asking how to fix it - what glue I could use to reattach the lining.  They sent me a whole new Gun Boot 3!  And it came fast.

I have 3 Kolpin gun boots, 2 # 3's and one ancient thing. I carry my guns in them when I go hunting in my boat or bolted to my snogo.  Since we only have 20 miles of road, my boat is my main transport and I routinely run 70 to 100+ miles, crossing a 20 mile stretch of tidal inlet that gets pretty rough plus 15 to 30 miles or more of large river.  Everything in the boat can get smacked around.   Riding on the snogo gives it a brutal pounding. You'll also see some guides with Gun Boots bolted to the wing struts of their bush planes. The Gun Boots really protect my guns. The light tough and nearly water tight Gun Boots are the best field carry case available. I'm grateful for Kolpin's good support of their product.
