I have been plinking with a new 17HRM, a blast, Savage9317.FVSS.  Unknowingly the .17 has improved me with all my shooting but not the purpose of this post.
 Tonight I pulled out the T-3 Hunter, 6.5-55, and the 308 Whitetail Hunter and it was great.  I just brought those firearms up and the fit and feel is awesome.  The 6.5 is a tack driver the 308 is not scoped yet.  I am just talking about the feel of the weapons.  I thank this Forum and it's members for without their imput I would not have even looked at them.  These are really fine looking precision weapons for a reasonable price.  Thanks again!!!!!    Buckfever

Yup---those Tikka's are the gun to beat for the value received for the dollar spent----nothing else even comes close.

Well made----accurate----with all the desired features-------you just can't beat that.

I have a Tikka in 300 Win Mag and it is one of the best shooting guns I own.  :D

Gee !! I get tired of these Tikka commercials.  By the way, My Whitetail Hunter in 243 is a fabulous rifle.  And I agree, it is hard to beat them at any price.  But we need to stop spreading the word or we are going to drive the price up. :)   I think someone should start an "anti-Tikka " thread. :lol:

i have a tikka whitetail hunter in 308 and this little beauty loves 168 grain winchester ballistic silvertips :-D

At last check, I had more Remington 700s than any other bolt-action rifle.  However, my Tikka collection is starting to rise - and  for good reason. :)

i too am on the tikka bandwagon  i bought a t3 in .270 and put a nikon monarch 4x12x40 a/o scope on it   loved the gun so much i had to go out
and buy another in .243  put a weaver grand slam on that one and what a sweet rig  
i guess i should stop rambling on about them or a 7mm-08 might come along next!! shhhhh  dont want the wife to hear that !!

Guys - I don't deny that the Tikka's are great rifles and very accurate right out of the box, but to my eyes they're just  a little short in the looks department. Not that I'd ever hunt with a "pretty" rifle, mine are almost all McMillian stocked no nonsense rifles built to hunt hard. TheTikka's just don't seem to fit me as well as the Sako's or Ruger's do. Believe me when I say that I'm happy that you are all happy with them, they're just not for me! Happy hunting! CEJ...

My Tikka T3 "GOT CURL"

It's now sporting a Leupold VXII 4-12x40 with a german reticle.  Can't wait to get it zeroed in.  With the old Redfield pictured it was shooting sub moa out to 200 yards right out of the box, trigger adj was super easy.

Great, light rifle and just check out the wood on it!  The curl runs from end to end.  I don't like plastic stocks, they serve a purpose but when I'm hanging out waiting for the monster buck to come along its nice to get a lost admiring a nice stock.  Ya gotta love Gander Mtn with the way they have all the guns out on display for you to pick out a nice stock without having a salesperson staring at you.  I just went there to look and I couldn't pass this rifle up...

So far I love my Tikka T3!

My 6.5-55 has the same curly pattern from end to end.  Man it is just an eye grabber, but the real deal is the tack driving gun!  You have a beautiful firearm!!!!!!!!!    Buckfever

Very Nice.  The Gander Mtns around here don't seem to carry Tikka rifles.  Or if they do it is only 1-2 of em.  You must have bigger stores than we do.
