Choppa, Since no one else has responded I'll comment. First I don't own one but was looking at one in Anchorage last month. The model I saw had a short barrel, synthetic stock, ghost ring sights with a big white bead up front. Sure looked and felt good. It was in 308 cal. If the cal. works for you I believe it would make a great little carbine for medium game. Hope this helps, Byron
