Got a new gun today,model 7 LS in 7mm-08,any thoughts ?
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

Have a Model 7 in 260 and it shoots about an inch at 100.. Great gun, shot 2 deer with it last year  :-) Best of luck, get out to the range this weekend and let us know how she shoots!   :D

Great gun and great caliber.  My mom (60) and my brother in law both shoot model 7's in 7-08.  I have a 700 short custom built just like a model 7 because I'm left handed. Mine has a McMillan stock, but I really like yours with the laminated wood.  Is it very heavy.  At worst with a little tuning (trigger, bedding, barrel channel), it should be a real shooter.
