Hey Boys I found a Browning Superposed Lightning in a pawn shop today for 570 out the door. Very tight gun with sk and sk fixed chokes, looks very nice but has had a recoil pad added. Need to know if this is a steal or just another not so hot bargain.  Digger

Browning makes all kinds of different "Grades" of guns...do ya know which this one is....it will have a bearing on the price.... but regardless, if ya want it, it sounds like a deal to me...

If it is a Superposed ie, made in Belgium it is a steal. IF it were a Citori made in Japan it is still an excellent price.

Well I bought it today, and it shoots very good. It has a grayed receiver and the superposed forend, and it says lightning on the bottom of the receiver. Someone put a recoil pad on it ,and I can understand why, because the thing is very light and has a little more recoil than my Citori.  Digger
