Ammo find!
« on: September 18, 2004, 03:15:30 PM »
Fell into a lot of neat ammo at a garage sale here! Not much really old stuff, except for some .25-20 Win, .38-55, .32-40, and some .32 Long Colt, but lots of other stuff!
The guy putting the sale on had sold all his guns, and was selling the ammo cheap, like .10 cents on the dollar! Bought GI ammo cans full of .444, .256 Win, .25-20, .219 Zipper, .35 Rem, .30 Carbine, and much more!
My poor old Toyota 4x4 PU was dragging when I left!

I am interested in Winchester 32-40 and 38-55 so I am interested in giving your Toyota a small breather.    If you are interested?

I am interested in the .32 Long Colt ammo.
I reload that caliber --- with heeled bullets or the Hornady .310 ball --- for use in my Marlin Model 1892 rifle.
Now, this IS the .32 Long Colt, right? NOT the .32 Colt New Police, which is identical to the .32 Smith & Wesson Long except for a small meplat on the bullet nose.
The .32 Long Colt has not been produced since the late 1970s or early 1980s. My Marlin wants to be fed!  :)

Gatofeo,
The .32 Long Colt is staying home with me! I have three Marlins and a Ballard chambered for the cartridge!
Baxter, Likewise on the .32-40 and .38-55, as I have numerous Marlins in those calibers.
All the ammo that I'm not keeping was sold within days of my original post.
 Thanks!
