First off James, Welcome Aboard!
Now, word of advice...Don't ever give a full serial number in any communication on the net (just a safe practice as anyone just might accuse you of ripping them off!).  The Stevens Model 94 Single-Shot Shotgun was made between 1939-61.  Its value as listed in my source is $95.  That's considered in "as new" condition.  It came in 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410. Bbls.: 26-,30-,32-,36 inch, Full choke.  Weight about 6 lbs. depending on gauge and barrel length.  Plain pistol grip stock and forearm.
Model 94C same as Model 94, except checkered stock, fluted forearm on late production.  Made 1965-90.  $125.
