Which NEF/H+R Rifle Do You Shoot The Most?

While I like to shoot them all, my favorite has to be the 45/70.  I've tried more different bullets through it than any other rifle I own. So far my best loads are using the Hornady 350 gr. RNSP and the 420 gr. WLNGC from  Cast Performance Bullets.

Don,

I have a couple that are almost toss ups, but the .357 has to be the one I favor the most.  Maybe it's the challenge of making a pistol bullet shoot good or maybe it's just because it's fun to shoot.  Even though the Hornet is a lot of fun to shoot, it doesn't present the challenge the .357 does.  :roll:

Mine would be my 22 Hornet with a 3-9 Basch & Lombe scope. I love that little gun, and while I shoot the bull barrel 223, the hornet is my all time favorite small bore so it gets a lot more use.

BTW, I only have two handi's a 223 bull and a 22 hornet.

I've got an Ultra Varmit in 223 and it shoots groups in the MOA if I do my part, sold the Ultra stocks to Tim and ordered the Plastic stocks, to cut down on weight. But I keep changing, going back to the 44mag. barrel. Had a Simmons ATECH 2.8X10X44 on it, but the scope keeps shifting foward, so the other night I put a Leupold 6X36 streight power on it and see if this helps. Before the scope started shifting it was finally shooting jacketed bullets great. Was using the SPEER 300gr. JSP. I've put a lot of time, effort, and MONEY in that 44mag. barrel. So I'll just keep hammering away at it till I get it to shoot the way I want it.
So.... yes its the 44mag. Ultra, I shoot the most.

wow toss up first between 22 hornet  and the 357,followed closely by the 45/70 ,17hmr  then the 218bee

I guess since the question if which do I shoot the most it would be 223.

If you were to ask which I like shooting the most it would be all of them. 223, 357, 270, 45-70 and the Huntsman.

My bull barrel 223 with Leopold 6x18x40AO. I'm still in shock with this set up. My other barrel is 7mm-08 and that will have a 3x9x40 Leopold.

My favorite NEF is my .223 Handi rifle.  It wears a 3-9x40 Bushnell scopechief.  I have put about 800 rounds thru this firearm. I do handload. It is a blast to shoot. I use it for punching paper but mostly hunting coyotes here in Wisconsin. I love it !!

I only have one so far but I love it. It's a 223 bull barrel handi with a Tasco 6-18-44 scope on it but I haven't got to shoot it much between school and work. But the second handi is on its way from california I just bought for pooraim in the NEF Classifieds. Its a 270/243 hope it shoots good; can't wait to take it to the range.

It use to be the .223, but now it is my new .45-70 Buffalo Classic. I also need to get a different rear sight. It came with a plan Jane Wilson peep sight, which work very well at one set distance. The problem is you have to take it also apart to make any adjustments. Does anyone know of any adjustable (windage and elevation.)peep sight that works good out to may be 500 yards?  I don't want to use tang sights. Thanks for any input.

Both my 22 Hornet and 45/70 are equal favourites.  The Hornet handles anything from squirrel to Turkey, and the 45/70 has 22 Deer to it's credit and still going strong.  Also have a H&R 12 guage, with the barrel cut back to 18", barrel band/sling swivels and recoil pad that wanders from my bedroom to my truck, depending.
