Ruger SS questions
« on: January 19, 2003, 06:12:41 AM »
Did Ruger ever make a 44 or 45LC Bisley in Stainless Steel or a 45LC Convertible Blackhawk in Stainless Steel?  If so what would be the going price?

Thanks,
QD

I have one of the .45 Colt SS Bisleys. One or two limited runs. 5.5" barrel. Also made a run of .44 mag. Very nice.
I don't believe Ruger made a SS NMBH convertible, but they did sell and fit a spare .45 ACP cylinder to an SS NMBH. I had several SS NMBHs rebarreled from 7.5 to 5.5", with .45 ACP cylinders. Call Ruger to see if they will still do it.

Ruger did indeed make a stainless steel convertible Blackhawk in .45. My best friend had one and sold it a few years ago....It must have been uncataloged. It was a 4 5/8' model.
