Yup, Yup and Yup.  Mine is in 7mm Rem Mag, and shoots great.  The stock is a bit tupperware-ish, but all the plastic factory stocks are.  After 10 years, I had to scrape out the hot melt and rebed with JB weld, but other then that, I highly recommend them.....

Tom

I like mine. I did have the stock replaced with a Boyd's laminated stock. I wanted a laminated stock going in so the Tupperware stock was not a problem. I've shot the smallest sub one inch group I've ever been able to with mine. It's chambered in 30-06.

Questor,

I like my M70 Classic Stainless, 26" barrel chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag.
It is a good solid shooter. I have some 160g. loads for it and am trying to get to the range to shoot some 140g. loads. It has one "Colorado mountain scratch" on the barrel that pleases me everytime I see it. It is my rough and ready rifle!

I have a few myself.  One is in .300WM, .300WSM (which my brother uses), .338WM, and .375H&H Mag.

The only thing I don't like is the cheap plastic stocks, but other than that they shoot great.

Zachary:

I'm trying to decide whether the 338 or the 375 will be better for me. How do they compare in recoil?  I'd prefer the 375, but don't know whether the light weight of the gun will make it too punishing. I'd like to shoot it enough to get good with it.  What kind of scopes do you use on the 338 and 375?

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate the help.

I have a Zeiss Conquest 3X9X40 on my Ruger .338 Win Mag.
I also installed a Sims recoil pad on the gun before I ever shot it.

I would highly recommend both! The recoil is not bad at all with this pad installed. I can not compare to a .375 as I have never shot one.
