Taurus Quality??

[Wrong Way]

I have owned a lot of handguns over the years. I have owned a LOT of Taurus revolvers and I have never, and I repeat never, had a problem with ANY of them. I can't say that about some of the Smiths, Rugers, Llamas, Maks, H&Rs to name a few.. The only other guns I have not had a problem with were Colts. Taurus makes some of the best .38 and .357 on the market. I've owned half a dozen model 85's and a nice model 82. I just got done purchasing a model 65 and a model 605 in .357 and both operate flawlessly... My ruger Stainless Blackhawk .45 Colt had to be sent back after the first six shots. I'm not putting down Ruger as I feel they make good guns. But if gun makers like Smith and Ruger can sell me a dud then I would expect it from any manufacturer. I havn't had a single problem from Taurus...

My experience has been the same. My last Taurus® was received in May 2003; a birthday gift from my wife. It's a 617SS 357 Magnum.
