Zachary..or any Tikka owners.....
« on: September 01, 2004, 10:32:49 AM »
I have heard, from a jobber at the store, that Beretta is dropping the Tikka name from their product line.  Has anyone else heard this?  Is there any truth to this?  If so, what gives?  Lawdog

Have not heard that.  They are starting to have problems keeping up with demand.  Two gun shops I know are still waiting for many of their Tikka guns.  Thanks Buckfever

SO RIGHT YOU ARE!!  When I over heard the store owner and the jobber talking it sounded like a dumb thing for Beretta to do.  But after the screw ups that Remington and Winchester has pulled recently makes one wonder.  Lawdog

Probably some nasty rumor started by a disgruntled Remington rep----since they're getting their pants whooped by the Tikka line.

A trip to the Beretta USA site---the Tikka line is extensive and growing----don't count on Beretta folding up their hottest seller. They haven't been in business for 500 years for nothin.
