warranty question?
« on: August 30, 2004, 04:55:18 AM »
My son's warranty has ran out in March and now we are having trouble with play and daylight in the action.  Will they warranty this?  If they won't what will it cost me? Thanks ,oktx

I have no doubt NEF will back it up.  Most of their warranties are limited lifetime anyway.  Never heard of them charging to fix a defect.

Thanks hand rifle, I sent it back to them today.  The local shop where I bought it sent it back for me and even paid the shipping.  The shop told me that if it was not right when it came back the would swap it out for another one.  That's pretty good service!  NEF told me they would do the trigger job for free if it was over 5lbs.

That's about what I expected from them.  Glad to hear it.
