Went to a gun show today;

Was walking around and in the corner a fellow was set up there, he had four boxes of the Winchester CXP2 7mm-08 on the table, priced at $15.00 per box. Sounded pretty good, thought about buying one box. He then spoke up and said he would take $10.00/box. Bought all four boxes.
Just wondering if anyone has shot this ammo.
I reload, so if it does not shoot well I can still use the brass.

They group well in my Remington BDL SS DM and my Sako 75 SS - sub MOA in both. Then again, these guns shoot a variety of ammo sub MOA.

I haven't used this ammo on game, but for whitetail deer out to 200 yards, it should perform wonderfully.

Thanks, for the info. I know each rifle has it's own set of likes and dislikes but was just wondering. I've got a Rem. Mod. 7FS and a Ruger Compact in this caliber. I know the Ruger don't like 140 grainers but the Mod 7FS seems to shoot pretty much anything but the new polymer tipped bullets.

I shot my first buck with 150 pp 284 winchester drop dead. I don't reload so it's is the only bullet I can buy. I would rather shoot a better bullet that will holded up. I hunt now with a 300win shooting 180 grain pill I like rifles that are fast and hard hitting. Waiting on t3 in 270 in LH to come out in nov. Thought about 7m08 but after shooting a 270 I wanted one.
