I just purchased a new Simmons Aetec 2.8-10 WA from Ebay for $114 including shipping. Seems like a good deal. I didn't have much faith in the old 4X scope on my Savage '06 for Octobers upcoming elk hunt. This should give me enough time to test the scope before heading to the hills with it.

This seemd like a good price to me, saw the same scope in Wal Mart for $170.

i think you will like this scope.i own 4 of them and you cant do better than the Aetec for the money.with the 5 inchs of eye relief you dont have to worry about scope eye and they stand up to the recoil of the heavy hitters.Simmons stand by their scopes too.they have a life time warranty.heres one on my ultraslug

If this thing works out I may replace my 44 mag on my 223.

If you need another one, www.theopticzone.com has the matte version on sale for $119. And the 3.8-12x44AO for $125... :grin:

You cant beat the Aetec. I just got another one yesterday.
