I have a Sako AII - medium action - rifle in .243 that is due for rebarrelling, and I have question I have not seen posted here:
Does a Sako AII action have the potential for delivering enough precision to warrant the investment time and money to build a long-range hunting or Hunter Silhouette rifle?
I have no idea what the lock-me might be or if the trigger can be improved or if a decent light-pull trigger can be found for it. Would a second-hand Winchester or Remington short action be a better alternative?
Any information you can provide is welcome in advance.
