I saw a Crow murder another crow.
« on: August 09, 2004, 03:33:30 PM »
This happened while I was a boy hunting for squirlle when I was a boy.  I was moving slowly through the woods and watching the trees.  I got close to a crow on a branch above me.  As I watched another crow flew down and it looked like he glanced off his head like a fly by, .  With that the crow fell to the ground and like an apple.  no movement no fluttering.  I made my way the 20 or so feet to inspected it and it was stone dead.  I wondered if he was a sentry and I made my way into the rookery and the boss wacked him for neglegent behavior and sleeping on the job.  All other crows left in a hurry.  Damndest thing I ever saw.  JB
