A potentially life-changing operation
« on: August 05, 2004, 03:09:39 PM »
I'd appreciate if you guys could pray for a friend from my bible study who will go into hospital for an op to remove a growth in her uterus. The doctors initially thought it was a fibroid but other details came to light & that isn't the case. That don't know what it is, whether it's cancerous or benign. Furthermore, if she begins to bleed too much they'll have to do an emergency hysterectomy. She's 23, has no kids, not even married and has here entire life in front of her. There are worse things but but sudden sterility at such a young age is such a tragic thing for a lovely girl who has so much to offer. Please pray that she recovers from the cold she's now suffering from in time for Monday's op, that it is completely successful and she is healed completely.

I am standing with her, and so is the Lord, no matter the outcome. The Lord is in control of all circumsatnces and no matter passes without his consent.
I pray for healing.

How's this for the power of prayer. I found out that when my friend came out of theatre she was bleeding quite badly and so her sister and parents went and prayed and the bleeding stopped straight away. Since then she's had little pain and the doctors are quite pleased. Praise God!!!!

Further good news. My friend is home, looking better, feeling hungry and has all the internals she went with minus the growth. The docs are 90% sure it isn't cancer as well. Thanks for the prayer guys.
