Charles Daly Mini Mauser vs CZ 527..............

I am thinking about getting a bolt action 7.62x39 and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at the offering from Charles Daly and the offering from CZ. I have looked at their sites and seen the pictures for the public but am wondering how the fit and finish compare in real life. I like the looks of the CD pictures. And I know about the Ruger also. Thanks for any info.

I have one of each and I would have to give the nod to CZ.......excellent quality, great features, and the accuracy you can't beat........

I have the CZ 527 American in .223..........3 of us bought them at the same time; I have not shot mine yet. Fit, finish, etc., is awesome. Other 2 guys claim easy 1" moa with off the shelf Winchester, Remington, and Federal stuff.  Ours had no sights.

Only weird thing is the safety is pulled back to fire, forward is on safe......kinda strange.

I've not seen the CD mini-mauser but have shot a friend's CZ-527 at range.  The CZ is well made and accurate!  His has iron sights - I don't think its offered w/o them.

I've heard rumors that both will soon be offering these rifles chambered for the 6.8x43 Remington.  May want to wait and check if this would interest you.
