Ultra Dot 4 Dot?
« on: July 07, 2004, 06:25:43 AM »
I asked on the S&W forum about red dot scopes for my S&W 629 Classic and the majority thought that the Ultra Dot is the one to buy. Now after buying and installing the Ultra Dot, know one there seems to know if they are waterproof. Nothing in their literature about waterproofing. Have I spent close to $200 on a sunshine only scope? Aim Point scopes, I know now, are guaranteed waterproof! By the way, where are the AimPoint scope manufactured(country)?

Go to larrysguns.com, then send them an e-mail. They answer promptly.

I don't know about totally waterproof, but they're pretty darned waterproof. I use mine in the rain regularly, as to many others. The promotional photos show the scope on bows and hunting guns, so it must be an oversight in their literature.
