Why isn't the Savage Striker more popular? I have one, Stainless, 223 Rem, and I love it. Big and heavy but it sure does shoot. :D

bgjohn, I have one of the Strikers with the laminated stock in .223 - awkward, for sure - however it shoots great - I am currently in the process of upgrading to a better scope.   They are a spectiality item for sure, but a lot of fun.....

MD is just behind Kalifornia.

IF it doesn't have a integrated trigger lock it can not be bought or sold in the state. it must come with a factory fired case to be put in records the list goes on. we must even take an anti-gun class ( A.K.A. gun safety) to buy a handgun or assault rifle. it is a 45 min. VHS tape the person putting in the tape can not answer any questions that the people have.

I can not even get me an Encore (as well as most other handguns) , on the up side all used contenders and encores  already in the system go for a very good price.

So, it appears that those of us living in the PRC must get our guns in Nevada or Oregon!

I can see a lot of people moving to a gun friendly state to get the ones they want then move back home and bring them
