on the centerfire fourm (wish list) you said you had spoken to someone who had seen the .17 mach II.
Was it a H&R barrel? and if so did they say if the barrel was a bull or standard conture?
I hoping they willl chamber it in a standard barrel and not just a bull only.

I didnt mean to jerk your post around........just though these ?'s would be better on the rimfire fourm.

Tcall, Yes it was a NEF Sportster. I was lucky enough to get one of the last .357 Mag barrels in the barrel accessory program. During my phone and e-mail conversations with CS one of the CS people mentioned that he had seen the gun and a target it had shot just the day before and that it was one of the best targets he he ever seen shot with a Handi!!! I am still wondering if it will shoot any better than my .17 HMR and if I need another .17. Same bullet (?) with about 400-500 less velocity but it is allegedly going to be a bit cheaper. My question is why would it be so much cheaper than the .17 HMR, from about $9-10 a box to about $6 a box.there is certainly not much more to it.  Regarding the barrel contour, I did not ask about the proposed offerings....<><.... :grin:
