Hey guys,
Give me the scoop on the 245. I'm looking for a compact 45 for ccw. Anyone own one of these? What do you think about the 245 when compared to the other smaller 45 acps on the market? I've never owned a sig but would like to.
Be Safe,
Scott

Although I liked the Sig 245 I ended up buying the HK usp 45c. Some of the reasons were, lifetime warrenty, feel of the gun, weight, capacity, and it's reputation. Believe me it was nip and tuck with the two guns before the HK won out.

I've never use the 245 but I own two other sigs and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. My $0.02 for what it's worth.

P245 As Carry Gun

I have a Virginia permit to carry, chose the P245 and couldn't be happier. After years of fooling with M1911A1s and other stuff which was unuseable out of the box, it is a joy to have something which works great out of the box and requires no customizing. Mine has the Sig-Lite sights and I carry loaded with Federal 165-gr. Hydrashok +P and use a DeSantis "Grab This" IWB holster. Works for for me.
