Anybody tried one of these Mausers out yet?  If so, how do they shoot?

Razmuz:  Have you seen the actual gun or just their advertisement?  I know of no one who has seen that gun, but they are built by the same firm who built the interarms mark x firearms and I have one of them and like it vary well. :D    JIM  (PS I seem to have heard something about them not being able to be imported into this country for some reason or another, but I could be wrong have been b-4.)  :D    JIM

You may be right because I've never actually seen this gun either.

I know a few guys that have them.  I have examined two that one fellow has, which are the basic Mauser Daly sells-matte/synthetic etc.

I've handled/fondled both his Daly's, I personally own one of the CZ line, and have shot/examined the predecessor of the Daly, the Interarms Mark X.  I can't really compare apples to apples between the Daly my friends have vs. the CZ and the old Interarms. They are simply different finishes etc., so keeping that in mind.........  the Daly seems kind of rough, but I did not detect an overly sloppy trigger, the safety seemed to work well, and my friend says they shoot "okay". I can't elaborate more on the shooting part.

Comparing the CZ and the Interarms to this line of Daly, geez there isn't any comparison! My CZ is awesome in fit, finish, etc. The Interarms' I have knowledge of was a step below but still a darn nice gun.  The Daly appears to be solid functional hunting gun.  However, I'd like to compare there nicer finished guns with the CZ and the old Interarms to get the apples to apples comparison.

When the Soviet Union broke up and that whole can of worms exploded over there in the early 90s the US banned anything from being imported from some of the countries involved--one of which was where the plant was making these Mausers.  Now Bush has lifted the ban, and the Daly's are slowly trickling in...my friend just got his so I know they are being imported.

Good luck
