A few weeks ago a fellow on here inquired about making a 300mag work in a 98 action. I have had some problems in the past, and sometimes almost zero problems. Anyway it got me to thinking (= more money spent). I have a VZ-24 already tricked out, the barrel is being pulled and I just ordered a new Douglas. It will be chambered in 416 Taylor, why, the hell if I know. Hopefully this one doesn't give me problems, but heck I guess that is part of the fun.

.416 Taylor, great little cartridge you will love it and it will handle any game in the world other then small to large tanks, you have to watch out there!    You will be suprised to find out how little meat damage it does on deer sized game, pluss when you shoot everybody will know it was you!
  One of my customers and friends had me build one for him and he loves it.    He has shot a rather large 10 point whitetail with it and in July he and I will be in Africa where that will be his primary rifle.    Good choice and enjoy it, if you need loading info give me a call!
