Have any of you ever used Buffalo Bore ammo? Do they make "quality ammunition" :?:  I have a 35 Rem. and was thinking about trying it.

New York Hunter:  I know that Buffalo Bore makes some 'stepped up' or heavy loads, but nothing beyond pressure limitations.  I have seen the results of comparisons using Buffalo Bore ammo and it shoots, or appears to shoot as accurately if not better than most.  My brother tried some of their 45-70 ammo and said that although he starting flinching after about 10 rounds, it hit where he pointed the rifle.  HTH.  Mikey.

Outstanding ammo. Tim makes nothing but the best. You can't go wrong buying BB ammo. Tell Tim the old Graybeard sent you his way.

i dont reload yet so just kinda rattlin but for a couple boxes of BB you can pretty much get set up to load same ammo as buffalo bore. It is pricey but i have never heard anything but good about them. if you dont shoot a whole lot i think custom ammo is a very good option :D

Thanks guy's. I use this rifle for deer hunting and may use it for wild boar. I don't shoot it for fun, just for hunting. I shoot a few rounds through it before the season and that about it.

Newyork Hunter-I bought two boxes of Buffalo Bore 350 grain loads when I got my 45-70 for reloading references and shooting.Great stuff and very accurate....I get 2213 fps out of my Guide Gun with a 350 grain.

Good luck..Jayco.

You might try the PMC +p 350 grainers to practice a bit and get on paper - then use the more expensive Buffalo Bore ammo - I'm waiting on a calm day to do a comparason between PMC Silver / Buffalo Bore and Garretts premium ammo.  Leaning towards Garretts 420 grain + p stuff for my elk hunt this year.  The bit I've shot Buffalo Bore ammo has been a good experience - they make a 350 grainer.

I don't know about anything execpt their 44 mag and 45-70 ammo.
