Ruger Model 141?
« on: May 23, 2004, 09:50:14 AM »
Hi Guys,

Local shop has this revolver for sale at a good price.
Stainless with a four inch barrel and fixed sights.
The gun belonged to a police officer who retired.

Anybody have any time on a .357 like this?
It feels good in my hand so I am thinking about It.

Thanks

It's better known as the GP-100, and I know of quite a few in use, including my own.  Sturdy as they come, built like a tank.  Mine thrived on max loads and, as most do, outshot the guy holding it.  If the price is right, I'd buy it.  It will easily outlive you and several generations to come.

Bought a police turn-in with the 3" barrel and fixed sights about a month ago and really like it. I put the Hogue Monogrips on mine because the factory ones are kind of small. Shoots better than I can. Go for it.
