originally I went with the Dayton kit however after two years I had problems such as the rifle could fire when the safety was taken off!!!! The problem was that the trigger sear had worn and on the dayton trigger, which I have never fully liked, there is no adjustment for sear adjustment. Now this rifle has a Timney trigger, end of problem! One point with the big Enfields, if the safety is engaged before the bolt is closed the cocking piece is held way to the rear. When the safety is released the cocking piece flies forward and slams into the trigger sear. When a customer wanted to try this rifle I found this out, the Dayton trigger will not take this abuse and the rifle may fire! This is why we all teach safe gun handling!!!!! However after this experience I will never use a Dayton trigger again!!!!
