Dan Wesson for Revolver class - question on model #
« on: May 21, 2004, 10:40:26 AM »
I see 8" model 15V for sale from time to time for <$300.   Are these as accurate as the change-bbl DWs?

I was under the impression the at the change-bbl revolvers had an accuracy edge b'cause you could tighten the bbl/cylinder gap.

If anyone has any first hand experience with them pls let me know.  It seems like an inexpensive way to get into the revolver class.

Thx.

Actually, those should be switch barrel revolvers as well.  As far as I know, all DW revolvers are switch barrels. - Dan

A Model 15V would signify that it was a regular, vent rib shroud. It is not the heavy, full underlug shroud.  -- Philip Braud. PS, the Palmer, MA incarnation of Dan Wesson did advertise some fixed-barrel guns before they went out of business
